How do i hard reset my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 SM-T230?

Hi, i need urgent help. A friend o f mine borrowed my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 and he tried rooting it. At the time i thought nothing of it. Then he unplugged it and now it wont load past the "Samsung Galaxy Tab 3" load screen. I tried the hard reset (Volume down-power button- home button) but there was no result. Please advise
