Should I try to install cyanogen 11?

I am having bluetooth issues and some other minor things. I don't know who to write but I have been thinking of just trying the cyanogen 11 because cyanogenmod 12.1 is not a official version. Its my understanding that cm11 is kitkat so I need to know how to revert to this from 5.0. I am a noob in rooting and rom-ing.

It depends on the phone, but usually just by using the Cyanogen installer. (Make sure you back everything up - see Backing up an Android Device - flashing a ROM wipes everything off the phone.)
