How can I replace a stationary icon at the bottom of my Samsung s5 screen with another?

Welcome to the forums!

Press and hold the icon you want to remove and drag it up to the top to delete it. Then open the app drawer, press and hold the app you want at the bottom, and drag it to the place you want it.

I think the app drawer icon is one that can't be moved, but I could be wrong.

If you use the Nova launcher app, you can put more icons on the dock and homescreens, and have more docks.

Yes you are right, apps can't be moved. It didn't click with me they were saying to remove the app drawer button.

Apps can't be moved for a reason - it's the only way to get to your apps. Remove that icon and nothing not on the desktop is usable.
