unlocking start up pin? or how to reset to start up new user account without old pin code?

brought a s5 off my friend how was traveling back ta canada she unlocked it when gave to me and told me to reset and change lock codes but never got around to it for a day or so then relised phone had gone flat so put on charge an hur screen lock appered. an no way of reaching her to get pin anytime soon. can u help please?

Without her cooperation, I don't see that there's anything you can do, alas. Your carrier or network provider may be able to assist.
