How do I save an email in the stock email app?

Since upgrading to 5.0.1 the save icon has disappeared or moved. HOw do I save an email with 5.0.1?

Copy and paste it to a text file if all you want is the text, wait for a 3rd party app or use a different email app. (Or, if you backed up the old app, install it.)

Welcome to Android Central! I'm not sure exactly what you mean by saving the email. If it's an IMAP account, then the email is on the provider's server, so you can "save" it in a folder that you created. If it's a POP3 account, then the email should remain until you delete it on the phone (unless there's some setting to automatically delete emails in the inbox after a certain number of days).
