Why is it that my video player is running in my active applications when I didn't use it

I need help please! My galaxy note 10.1 is running video player in active applications when I didn't even used it. But its only doing it when im connected to my wifi.
As soon as I switch of all networks (wifi and mobile network) it stop doing it.
Im no expert but strange things around me is happening and I dont know if its maybe that my phone has been hacked....?
Please help

Welcome to Android Central! That's not unusual, and it due to how Android normally works. The system prefers to keep RAM relatively full of open apps. See these articles:
