How do I sync my calendar on my galaxy S4 active & galaxy note 8?

My calendar used to sync without any problem. Suddenly it stopped a few weeks ago. I have checked all settings on both devices & I can't figure it out.

Welcome to Android Central! Are these calendars synced with your Google Calendar in the cloud, or are they calendars that are only associated with the Phone Account/Device Account?
