How to boot the moto x 2014 ? ( broken power button )

So some water splashed on my phone and my power button isn't working since .Checked guides online advising me to hold the volume buttons . Those guides have gotten my phone bricked . Charging it when it's on zero battery gets it to boot but right now the phone is fully charged .

I would suggest getting the button fixed so you can then boot it properly.
