Is there a safe way to Root a 5.0 Note 3?

I haven't rooted my phone yet, i'm on 4.4 and all i really want is write to SD access. The 5.0 roll out hasn't reached me yet but it will soon. I would really like to Root and be on Lolipop if possible.

Mine is still on its way from Coatesville to my local delivery center. Looks like tomorrow will be the day after all... I hope...
