why is my call touch pc tablet asking a password to decrypt storage

my call touch pc tablet suddenly stopped working and when i lit it on it took a long time to show anything than writting its name repeatedly.After switching it it again it didnt give an ask for a pattern to unlock of which i had set a pattern.later on it stopped working,the i lit it again and it is asking a password to decrypt storage.i set a pattern only not a numerical/text password

Welcome to the forums. I am honestly not sure what to suggest. I don't think resets clear encryptions. You might want to contact the manufacturer and see what they suggest to do.
