HI, I have a Nexus 4 and would like to move everything over including sms, call logs, apps and their related data. Will I be able to move everything over by using the back up and restore(i think its called) via NFC? Also does the "new" phone have to have a wifi/data connection?

    Thanks.

Al phones have wifi and data connections. (Or do you mean simultaneous downloads using wifi and mobile data?)

I don't know whether the backup/restore app you're referring to works with NFC and/or it can restore to a different phone than the one it backed up from. Helium can, but not via NFC. (NFC is very slow, so it's usually used for short realtime data transfers like vCards or credit card data, not things like large amounts of app data.)
