Why can't i see the photos and videos on mu sd card through my gallery?

I have a galaxy s5 with a 64 gb samsung sd card, I transfered my photos and videos to my sd card using the sandisk app, but now i can not view my photos or videos through my gallery. It shows up when i look in the app but it isn't in my gallery. I also moved my music but that is showing up without a problem. Just my photos and videos will not show up in my gallery. What do I need to change in order to view these from my phone gallery?

I never had trouble using SD cards with my GS5 since I got it last year, but I never used that Sandisk app either.

Maybe is a setting or a bug with the app itself and not the card.

Try this, move everything to a computer from the SD card. Than, format the card and install it in your phone. Now connect the phone to the computer with all the pics, videos and music and transfer them into the SD card inside your phone.
Do this without the Sandisk app.
