I dropped my HTC First the other day while hiking and the screen would no longer work, I hooked it up to the computer and it doesn't recognize my phone, and today my phone completely gave in. This phone doesn't take SD cards, so there wasn't one to save it onto. Can I save my picture somehow?

Welcome to Android Central! Do you mean the phone no longer powers on? If the phone is completely dead, then it will be pretty much impossible to retrieve data from the Internal Storage, unless you want to spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars on a forensic data recovery specialist. How much of your data was backed up or synced to a cloud service (like Google Contacts, Google Photos, etc.)?
