Grand prime won't charge

Hey guys, I just recently went on a two week vacation and my grand prime was working, I even used it during the trip but the night before I left it wouldn't charge, my phone didn't fall in water or fall,it doesn't have cracks either, it was in my moms purse the whole time. The country I went to was really hot but my moms purse was usually in the trunk. My phone won't turn on or charge, I took out the battery, used different charges and different plugs, it won't turn on. PLEASE HELP!

Welcome to Android Central! The trunk can get pretty hot--was that the case? Batteries don't like high ambient temperatures, which can cause it to discharge quickly (and potentially fail).

Charge the battery from a wall outlet for at least 4-6 hours undisturbed, before trying to power on. If it doesn't power on, then you may have to get a new battery.
