I'm running version 4.4.2 on a Neutab N7 tablet. I'm trying to enable offline speech recognition for an app I'm working on. However, nothing is working unless I'm connected to the internet. All the research I've done says that in previous versions, it was a setting found under Language & Input, but I have no such setting available.

How do I enable offline voice recognition in the newest version of Android?

    Welcome to Android Central!

Google voice typing should be under language and input. If it is not than you need to install Google speech to text.
