How do I sort emails on the stock email app on a Samsung Galaxy Note 4?

On my S4 I had an option in the menu to Sort mail. Sorting was by name, date (ascending and descending) read, unread, etc. I cannot find this option on the Note 4. Is there a trick to finding it? I use this function to sort and then delete unneeded emails rather than go through each day searching.

On at&t Note 4, tap the 3 vertical dots in the upper right corner > then tap "Filter By". On mine, I do not see an option for date or ascending/descending though.
