I have been using Hangouts as my default SMS app for a while. In the past my SMS conversations were merged with my Hangouts conversations. This changed recently, seemingly on its own.
I've checked my settings:
Hangouts is still the default SMS app,
My google account is selected as the default SMS messaging account,
AND Enable merged conversations is selected.
Has anything changed recently that would explain this (like an app updated that I missed)?
Complicating my diagnosis of the issue is the fact that I only have an Hangout convo with 1 person.
FYI, I'm using a Sprint HTC One M8, latest stock, Android 5.0.2. Latest Hangouts version, 3.3.
