Note 4 rooting w/o tripping Knox?

Hi all. I have a t-mobile note 4 that I switched to metro pcs with. I wanted to add tethering/hotspot but after trying on 2 different occasions I was told I can't and the problem is with my phone. I use an iPad 2(wifi only) for my new business and give customers an email receipt. When I was able to afford T-mobile I could connect to my note 4 to my iPad, but like I said not with metro. Some places have Internet and I can connect, but the majority of them do not and after the sale I have to go to a hotspot location to send them their receipt. I would prefer not to root, but it seems to be the only way to be able to tether/hotspot my phone. If someone has a way to do this without rooting great, but I am resolved to a root if needed. Is there a way to root without tripping Knox? Thanks

Thanks for the video, but judging from the comments and when the video was posted, I agree that this method will in fact trip Knox. Anybody else have a real solution as to how to get hotspot working? Thx
