Not sure if this is the right place to ask but thought I'd give it a Go!

I use iTunes on a mac mini as my main music hub. I import Cd's to it and let Google music manager sort out getting them on my lg g3.

I recently bought a double album which is the artists first album and second album combined. When I imported the second disc to iTunes it imported them as if one album so the tracks appeared mixed. Ie track number 1 (first album) then track 1 (second album) 2 2 3 3 etc rather than first album 123 then second album 123.
In iTunes it's no problem. I managed to split them manually into correct album and order but obviously this only works within iTunes. When I download the albums onto my g3 via play music the appear as they originally imported to iTunes and they track numbers actually appear as 1 1 2 2 3 3 etc on my phone.

Is there no way of manually reorganising the tracks into the correct album and order? I've looked around and have found info on organising play lists.

You should be able to edit the tracks by going to Google Play Music on the web, clicking on the 3 vertical dot menu button associated with a track, and editing the track number and disc number. That should allow GPM to distinguish which tracks go to which disc.

Cool. I will give it a go.
    Thanks.

Yay! It worked. Thanks very much.

I can't get the album artwork to change but that is a minor issue.

You can manually change the artwork there as well. Click on the 3 vertical dot button for either a single track or for a whole album, and click Edit Info. Then hover over the album art, and click Change.

Yah. I did that but it keeps giving an error uploading. I've tried various sizes and formats but no joy.

Strange. You are using the web interface on your computer, and not the GPM app, right?

Yep safari on my mac mini. I've tried several times. I deleted the album artwork that was there by default as well but it made no difference. The track listings were more of an issue for me anyway.
