S5 battery wrapper

I took the wrapper off the s5 battery or the black and silver paper wrapped around the battery, and there is some type of electronic schematic if you will on the wrapper. what is it for...

I can peel the schematic the wrapper or what ever it is off...why is it on the wrapper of the battery...
