My phone keeps restarting?

I have the new lg g4. In the past 2 days it has restarted, shown the home screen repeatedly as if in a loop, and then it says optimizing apps. Is it broken or just updating.

It sounds like something screwy is going on, Try booting in to recovery and clearing the partition cache. See if that fixes the issue.
