Facebook video freezes on a Galaxy S4, but sound keeps on playing.

When I watch a Facebook video for about 20 sec it is fine. Then the video freezes but the sound keeps going. When the sound is done playing, the video resumes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no avail. Is there a fix for this?

Hi I have the same problem, but i have not find a solution yet. i have no problem with internet connection as i have tried connecting in different wifi hot spots and i have a 4G connection too.

these were the things that ive done so far:
- uninstall and reinstall facebook app
- closed all the apps and background app that are running
- tried using the browser instead of the FB app but still the same.
- hard reset my phone
- played videos on my iPad to try if its the connection but. no problem there.
- turned off bluetooth and gps and most apps that use GPS or bluetooth.

my last option is to factory reset my phone but thats highly unlikely as i dont want to reconfigure all my emial and banking accounts on my phone

Hello. I have the same problem in my S4. It doesn't happen when I access Facebook from the phone browser, only with the Facebook app. I've already tried to re-install the app, delete data and cache. It plays for a couple of seconds and freezes.
