    I have the majority of my pictures on a Picasso folder (which BTW I never put them there) but now I notice that where there is supposed to be a a picture the square is now grey and empty! Can anyone help please? I have a galaxy S5

    Welcome to Android Central! Do you mean Picasa? Picasa would indicate that the photos are in your Google Photos cloud, not stored locally on the phone. Is the phone connected to the web? If not, then cloud photos may not display properly in the Gallery app.

    Yes I have my WI-FI on all the time and still nothing! If they are in the cloud how can I access the cloud?

    First, make sure that the photos are actually in your Google Photos on the web. Go to photos.google.com on your computer browser and see if you can find them there.
