    I dropped my new droid in the water...quickly retrieved it and wiped it off. Now it wont come on at all

    If the water was shallow, perhaps damage was done by the impact.

    Don't try to turn it on until it's clean and dry - several days.
    (I think like the Moto G and X they are only water repellant)

    I was lucky with a Note 3 and Moto G I pulled quickly. That it wouldn't start is not good.

    Ask the OP here, and try Isopropyl Alcohol if you can.
