How do I enable 4G LTE on Nexus 4?

I just changed from an iPhone to a Nexus 4, this is my first android phone and it's confusing me, I need to enable 4G LTE, I googled on how to do that and it says I need to root my phone. How do I root a Nexus 4 and how do I enable 4g LTE after rooting?

The process is pretty straight forward to both root and modify things to get 4G working (though, it might not be 100%). The instructions may very well be in the links that you found that told you it is possible. Either way, just Google it.... I'm sure you'll find tons of instructions on how to do it.

I'd suggest looking at the Nexus Root Toolkit from developer Wugfresh... that will most certainly get your phone rooted and unlocked. Then just do a quick search on how to force the 4G stuff on.
