why does my girlfriend receive a different txt to the one I sent her

Whenever I send a txt message to my girlfriend in dublin she would receive a jumbled up message with extra words added and old txt that I sent months ago mixed up with the message and when read it made complete sense my girlfriend won't talk to me because she received nasty messages apparently sent by me as you can imagine this is causing me a lot of grief
