Galaxy S5 lollipop update issues continue after factory reset

A

AC Question

Since the hated lollipop update, each time my Galaxy S5 connects to a new Bluetooth device or I transfer a file via bluetooth it starts playing a music track on an endless loop. The music track must have come with the phone since I have no music downloaded or on my sd card and its not one of my ringtones. The only way I can stop the music playing over the speaker is to reboot my phone.

I have already done a factory reset 2 times.

There is still the overheating issue, the com.sec issue with contacts every time I add a contact and a few other items that I have learned to live with. Any help with a way to stop the music without having to reboot the phone would be great.

Welcome to Android Central! It might be worth re-flashing the firmware. The easiest way would be to bring the phone to your nearest Best Buy, and have the folks at the Samsung store flash it for you.
