On my Nexus 7 there is an app that all of my downloads goes into. I would like to know how to get those downloads (mostly pdf's) onto my laptop. Does anyone know how I can do that?

Welcome to Android Central! The Downloads "app" isn't really an app--it just displays what is in your Download folder.

Connect the tablet to the computer via USB, and use the computer's file manager to drag and drop the contents of the Download folder (the full path is /storage/sdcard0/Download/) to the computer's hard drive.
