Sprint says they won't fix the GPS on the new phone. Its not their problem. HTC wants a 600 dollar deposit (sounds like a down payment) to see if the phone can be fixed or whatever. Its a new phone. Why should I be required to pay to replace it even for a few days? Any help?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Was this an official over-the-air update pushed by Sprint? If so, then I'd disagree with them--it's their update, so any problem caused by the update is their responsibility. Unless they're claiming that the GPS failed independently from the update. But still, if it's still under warranty, it should be replaced or repaired without any cost to you. Who have you spoken to? Have you asked for a supervisor?
