How do I get my s6 edge to go back to swipe lock screen?

I have my lock screen set at pattern and I want to go back to swipe because I don't like pattern. For whatever reason when I go in to change the setting swipe is shadowed over so I can't use it. Have choice of all other screen locks, but they are not what I want. Can anyone help me with this issue?
