I recently lost my HTC One M8 and I used the Android Device Manager to locate it, but the place where I misplaced it has Wi-fi that disconnects on it's own. Of course, I didn't have my mobile data on so I pretty much think it's impossible to contact it. Is there a way to find it or a way to turn my data o?

Not unless you've installed a "missing phone" app that will do it. But Android Device Manager - locate your phone will give you a map of where your phone has been, day by day (whenever it got a signal from it).
