How long does it take for my s6 edge to cool down?

So my phone says it is overheating, I have turned it off for over an hour, but now it won't stop saying it's overheating and keeps turning off, or dying saying temp is to high or to low. what am I supposed to do???

Keep it off the charger, take off the case (if you have one) keep it in cool areas or by a fan. Download clean master, click phone boost, click fix to cool down your phone. If your phone shuts off and won't come back on, press the power button and the volume down button. If the problem persists, you should go to a store to get it fixed.
