Is there any way to hide the mouse pointer with a mouse plugged in?

I'm interested in using my tablet to remote control my desktop PC and play games.

So far, the best option has been Moonlight running nvidia gamestream- the problem is that plugging a mouse into my tablet with a USB OTG cable results in two mouse pointers. There is a mouse pointer for the tablet and the mouse pointer on my PC...and they don't work together.

Is there any option or way to disable Android's built-in mouse pointer when a mouse is plugged into the device?
