How can i get the space back in my phone?

So I had 1.10 GB space left in my phone so I tried to download a game that cost 0.99 GB so I tried to download it and halfway through it said "error insufficient space" and stopped but also took a whole gigabyte of space with it! Leaving me with only 143 mb the app is no where in my phone and I can't find anything related to the specific game please help!

If you go into the play store, swipe right and click "my apps" can you see the app being installed? if that doesn't work try downloading a file manager from the play store and having a look at the internal storage for the game. Failing that you could do a factory reset which would clear the phone and bring it back to it's original state (out the box) just make sure to back up all your content (photos etc) before you do that

If you were downloading it, not installing it from the Play Store, look in your Download folder for a file and delete it.
