    I go into settings, I tap on battery and the message pops up : unfortunately, settings has stopped how do i fix the problem? I have a Kyocera Event phone

    I still have the same issue, it is related to a Play Store update. If you uninstall the Play Store updates, reboot, the stock battery app works again, but you will be hounded about needing the Play Store update for maps, Google Music....etc. I'll bet there are other battery battery apps that work with the PS update.
