AC Question

I keep getting a "optimizing # of # apps" note on my phone. Takes 30 mins to go through this before I can use it again.

Welcome to Android Central. :)

In both cases, a Cache Partition wipe may be worth trying.
Get back to us if still no go.

Hi Belodion! And thanks for helping. Since my phone is not rooted, I did not know how to wipe partition cache. I've looked into this forum and found this:
1. Power the phone off.
2. Press and hold the Volume Down button and then while still holding the Volume down, press the Power button as well.
3. You will get a menu giving you options such as: Fastboot, Recovery, Clear Storage, and SIMlock Factory Reset
4. I will do a factory reset completely out of the OS.

So, I can reproduce this, but honestly don't know what to choose. Can it be Clear Storage? I'm afraid that might delete personal data. Should 'nt it be called "wipe partition cache" ? :)

Thanks a lot
