Can u tell if someone with an android had blocked your number

I have an iPhone and my friend has an android and I've been texting him and have not heard back. How can I tell if he has blocked me

If you're texting via iMessage to an Android device, chances are the Android user may/will not receive your SMS. You'll either have to disable that first before texting to non-iOS users.
