HTC: How do you get rid of the BlinkFeed's constant reporting?

HTC One's BlinkFeed has stopped unexpectedly, sent the report and as soon as I sent it, it happened again and has been doing for a good 5-6 hours now and counting. Its that bad that I cant even access the phones homepage. All started when I went on Facebook and just went on from there, thought an update will sort it but I think that triggered the problem so if anyone's out there, please help out. Cheers.
