My earbuds stop working working

My earphones stopped working and everytime i go to watch a YouTube video i can hear music in the background from the video and them taking a little And this is on full volume and i checked my settings many times and i cant find a way to fix them how can i fix my earbuds

Have you tested the earphones on another phone?
Do you have a different set of earphones that you can test on your current phone?

This will eliminate the doubt of the earphones being at fault.

If the earphones are good you might have to replace the earphone jack on your phone.

I know this might sound trivial, and I don't mean to sound offensive... But make sure the ear buds jack is inserted all the way.
