    Since JuiceDefender seems to be out of business, what is the next best battery saving app for the android..

    Welcome to Android Central.
    Those apps will NOT save your,battery,they will just take mo juice from it since they stay active 24/7.
    Just lower your brightness,turn of Bluetooth,Sync and GPS and you should be good.

    I gotta agree with mehigh101. So- called 'battery savers' are ineffective or worse, often using more power than they save. Just pay attention to the phone setup.

    Android since v1.0. Linux since 2001.
