    Yes, you can use the 2 amp charger.... But this doesn't mean that it will necessarily charge the phone any faster.

    The charging circuitry and battery (phone) dictate the amount of mA or Amps that are needed.

    For example...
    If your phone requires 800 mA to charge.... There will be no difference between using the 1Amp or 2Amp charger.
