Dell Venue 8 issue downloading from goggle play

QuickTapSurvey tells me i need an Android tablet or Ipad. it is for work and so we purchased Dell Venue 8 tablets. i tested it on my personal IPad and it downloaded from app store just fine and no issues. my iPad has no carrier. when i try to download on Dell, goggle tells me i have no compatible device and there is no carrier. it has 4.4.4 android. whats going on?

Not all Android apps run on all Android devices with all versions of Android. Email the developer and sk for a recommendation of a tablet it's been tested on.

(iPhones are all compatible - Apple controls both the hardware and software design - so an app that works on one will work on ... well, there are only 1 or 2 current models at any time.. Android phones aren't all the same, and each manufacturer makes its own modifications to Android. So there are dozens of models, each with different hardware and different firmware.)
