I need to access internet on my Xbox and the only internet connection I have is through Pdanet and Foxfi on my laptop.

I am trying to connect my Xbox 360 to the internet. I am using Foxfi and Pdanet on my PC and I created a wireless hotspot through Pdanet on my computer, however, my Xbox will not connect to the network. Also, my xbox is labelling the network type as infrastructure (Channel 1). What does that mean?

I would suggest maybe visiting our sister site "Windows Central" to see if they may be able to help.
