How to remove spywares from factory reset list?

A

AC Question

I have a lenovo phone with Android in it. The phone is so infected by auto installed apps for the past few weeks that I've decided to do a factory reset. However, the factory reset happen to reinstall all of those unwanted apps (Takatap, EasyTouch, OmniSwipe, Privacy Guard etc)

Even when I uninstalled those apps before factory reset, it got installed back by the factory reset itself.

How do I remove these apps?

I've tried: - Disable auto restore - formatted sd card

Usually when you do the factory reset it erases everything. After that when you're logging into your Google Account it will ask what device to install the apps from (a backed up phone). Select the phone and then underneath it you can select the apps you want / do not want to install once you boot up.

Might be good to remove your SD card, connect it to your computer, and scan it for malware and virus. After that, wipe the cache partition in recovery before you factory reset. It's possible the the malware is installing from system cache and the SD.
