How do I fix an update error?

As a follow up to my previous question, your suggestion resulted in another error message:

"name of app" COULD NOT BE DOWNLOADED DUE TO AN ERROR. (194)

What does this mean? I am on a Samsung Galaxy S5. Have numerous updates to install and this message continues to appear.

I have taken the phone into the VERIZON store on several occasions and they have not been able to resolve the update issues. WHAT IS GOING ON???
