There is a minor scratch on my brand new Samsung Galaxy S5 mini is it able to be returned?

I bought a Samsung Galaxy S5 from Carphone Warehouse only a couple of hours ago and there is a minor but noticeable scratch down one side, it is driving me crazy and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Is it suitable to be returned and if so, how do i go about it?

Hello. That's annoying.

Did it come in a sealed Samsung box, with Region code warning stickers you had to tear to open. CPW are known to supply unlocked phones for any network they deal with.

Maybe you bought a refurbished unit, but if that scratch wasn't described or falls under the general description of condition, you should get some satisfaction or replacement.

If you bought it new I would definitely seek a change. Most stores may be closed but their support lines should be open until 8 or 9.

I would report it soonest if you are not happy with it, rather than wait until tomorrow.
