My HTC3 died so i put it on charger left it there for a while came back wont turn on just has a blinking red light it is truly dead wont turn on its still on charge but wont turn on just blinks red light help please i really like this phone and im broke cant afford to go to store to get it fixed and has alot of beautiful pics of my babys on it

Welcome to Android Central.

It may be that the charging procedure is not working because of a faulty USB lead, or possibly a dirty or damaged USB port. Are you able to try another lead, and possibly charger?

How long is "a while"? If the battery was totally dead, "a while" should be about 8-12 hours. If you keep checking it every 15 minutes, that's 8-12 hours since the last time you checked it.

The precharge (which is the first thing that happens with a dead battery) doesn't put much power into the battery, so if you keep interrupting it by trying to turn the phone on, you keep killing the battery.
