I listen to playlists on shuffle alot. it doesn't save my place in a song or in a playlist when I unplug my earbuds or pause the song unless you come back to it within like 10 seconds. and it doesn't remember my "sound alive" equalizer settings either (I like to keep it on "auto" but it always goes back to "normal")
I will be listening to a playlist on shuffle and I'll unplug from the auxiliary jack or hit pause. when I come back to the player the song will be back at the beginning, the equalizer will be set back to "normal" ,and the playlist will reshuffle starting at the beginning of the last song that was playing. meaning that it will likely replay a song that has already played before one that it hasn't.
essentially it doesn't save my place when i unplug from the head phone jack or hit pause. the only setting it remembers is to shuffle.
