I have just been reading about the vulnerability of Android devices to being hacked by an MMS being automatically opened by Stagefright. I have found instructions for disabling automatic opening of MMS for Android phones, but can't find anything for the Kindle Fire HDX. Does anyone know whether my Fire is vulnerable to this kind of attack and, if it is, how to protect against it until a patch is sent by the manufacturer?
