    I've had no problems with my Galaxy S5 with Verizon before. Starting yesterday the battery meter said 100% all day andater on in the day it restarted itself but wouldn't go past the "Samsung Galaxy S5" screen then restarted itself again...same thing as before and would not stop until i took the battery out. I left it off with the battery out all night and today turned it on and plugged it it and within 5 minutes it was hot. Tried a factory reset and it didn't help. Any suggestions?

    Welcome to AC.

    It might be worth trying a new battery, or at least having the old one tested.
